Texas public schools have been under relentless attack for years. Despite the state legislature’s constitutional obligation to support public education, they’ve done the opposite—pushing excessive testing, slashing funding, undermining educators, banning books, and tying the hands of our locally elected officials.
See our YouTube channel for interviews with experts on book bans, school district budgets, school safety, the billions spent in campaign funds, and more.

The state is diverting our locally raised property taxes away from public schools and using them for other priorities. The result? Schools are closing, classrooms are under-resourced, and teachers are stretched thin.
At the same time, state leaders have forced unwanted vouchers and expanded charter schools with little to no elected oversight—even though public school parents and communities have been clear: this is not what we want.
Our grandkids, our teachers, and our communities are paying the price. We deserve leaders who fund public schools, respect local taxpayers, and listen to families. Public education deserves better.
